About
The Cheese Bread is a bakery shop based in Louisiana. Due to their business model, they face many constraints on daily operation. We were creating a valuable digital experience for consumers on the IOS system.
Goal
The business needs to enhance discoverability and accessibility. Bring an easy and convenient digital user experience through a friendly customer eco-system.
Problems
The Cheese Bread Bakery is operating its business on Instagram. Customers can only place an order through Message to deliver without digital payment options. Sometimes, customers are busy at work and miss the time to meet them at delivery or have no cash to pay the order.

USER RESEARCH
Interviewed the customers and got insights into their food ordering experience, revealing valuable information for the designing process.
The research encompassed:
- Discover what customers love about the product, ordering, and delivery services.
- Define user needs and goals.
- Identify customers' pain points and preferences when ordering from the Cheese Bread Bakery.
- Gain ideas about which features to include in the design.
INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE
I created an experience that allows users to focus on their tasks and easily find the information they need.
With the "Order" as the main touchpoints, I conducted the app's architecture based on the two main use-cases: 'I want to place an order for delivery or pick up.' or 'I need more payment options.'
IDEA GENERATION
In the initial step, multiple ideas are generated. Starting from sketches that can help me focus on the task flows along with the notes to consider what functions are needed or what elements are missing.
LAYOUT
To make sure the designs are consistent, I choose 8px as the base unit for a wide variety of devices. Some icons, text, or other elements within components are aligned to a 4px grid to improve spacing in small areas and make implementation easier.

For a food delivery experience, the delivery times need to be accessible and easy to locate as one of the product's primary features. Ensure the users know when they will be served a meal and help them make the right choice when ordering online.
