Re-platform Asset Strategy Management ( 2022 - 2023 ) - Baker Hughes
Context
It was a transformative "Year One" for the Baker Hughes Cordant™ brand. Following the acquisition of ARMS Reliability, the product (formerly OnePM) needed to be re-platformed as the Asset Strategy Management into the Cordant suite.
That's where I came in.
The old system (formerly OnePM) design style belongs to the 90s. To fit into the Baker Hughes brand style, need to build from the ground. Which means, it is not only about how it looks, but it was also a strategic shift from information restructure to a smooth interactive experience.

After

Before
We were under a tight deadline to ship multiple apps in parallel within just five months. With several different product teams moving that fast, maintaining design consistency was our biggest hurdle.
My focus wasn't just on making sure everything matched our brand colors and typography. I had to ensure we were building reusable, scalable components that actually worked across the entire product ecosystem. The goal was to make sure that no matter which team built what, the end result felt like one cohesive platform to the user, rather than a bunch of disconnected apps.

I managed a team of two designers while serving as the primary bridge to stakeholders for roadmap and sprint definition. I balanced hands-on design execution with creative oversight, ensuring all outputs remained on track and strictly aligned with the Cordant brand ecosystem.

Achievement
Redesign of software to maintenance workflows for 3,600+ assets, enable a 44-day deployment cycle, achieving a 10x efficiency gain over legacy processes.
